1. PLATFORM SERVICES
BENED provides: hosting, payment processing, AI tools (AI Conversation, AI Chat), storage (BENED Storage Box via Backblaze B2), course management, community features (Discourse forum category), and technical support.
2. FEES
- Platform fee: 15% of all subscription revenue
- Payment processing: Stripe fees (additional, per Stripe's published rates)
- No setup fee, no monthly platform fee
- Fee changes require 30 days written notice
3. PAYMENT
- Mentor receives 85% of subscription revenue
- Payouts via Stripe Express (14-day rolling delay)
- Minimum payout: $10.00
- Currency: USD
4. TAX
- BENED collects applicable sales tax via Stripe Tax
- Mentor is responsible for their own income tax obligations
- BENED will provide 1099 forms where required by law
5. CONTENT
- Mentor retains ownership of all original content
- Mentor grants BENED license to host and deliver content on the platform
- All media stored via BENED Storage (Backblaze B2 via Cloudflare CDN)
- Content must comply with platform community guidelines
- No copyrighted material without proper license
6. SUPPORT
- Technical support via platform support widget
- Official communication channel: [email protected]
- Response time: best effort, typically within 48 hours
7. TERMINATION
- Either party may terminate with 30 days written notice
- Active subscriptions honored through their current billing period
- Mentor may export their content upon termination
- BENED retains aggregate/anonymized analytics data
8. LIABILITY
- Standard limitation of liability applies
- BENED is not liable for mentor-mentee relationship outcomes
- Mentor is responsible for their own professional credentials and licensing
9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
- Good faith negotiation first
- Mediation in Maricopa County, AZ
- Governed by the laws of the State of Arizona
