Retro City
Your website, inside a living cyberpunk world.
What It Is
Retro City is a 3D virtual world built with Three.js where every creator gets a plot of land to build their own website. Not a flat web page — an actual location in a cyberpunk cityscape with neon signs, day/night cycles, and ambient life. Walk through neighborhoods, discover other creators' sites, and experience the web as a place instead of a feed.
How It Works
Pick a neighborhood that fits your vibe — Arcade, Art District, Area 51, Downtown, and 13 more themed zones. Your plot is your digital real estate.
Use the visual page editor to create web pages that live inside the 3D world. Add text, images, embeds, links — everything a website needs, rendered as an in-world experience.
Walk around neighborhoods in first-person. Visit other creators' sites as physical locations. Neon signs glow, live-stream screens play Channels content, and the city evolves with its residents.
Point your own domain to your Retro City site. Visitors see your content on the web; in the city, it appears as an immersive storefront.
Built Different
- Not a metaverse gimmick — This is a real website builder that happens to exist in 3D space. Your pages work on the regular web and inside the city.
- 17 themed neighborhoods — From Arcade to Art District, Area 51 to Downtown. Each has its own aesthetic and community.
- Day/night cycles — The city lives and breathes. Neon glows brighter at night, street lamps turn on, the atmosphere shifts.
- Channels integration — Live-stream screens in the city show Channels broadcasts from creators in that neighborhood.
- Three.js engine — Runs in any modern browser. No downloads, no plugins, no VR headset required.
